New Economic Dashboard gives businesses faster access to economic info

The government is giving the province’s businesses a new online tool to help them complete and succeed in Alberta’s growing economy. With its new web-based Economic Dashboard, Alberta will be the first jurisdiction in Canada and one of only a few in North America to offer comprehensive provincial economic information online. The Dashboard provides 26 economic metrics specific to the Alberta economy and will be updated on a near-daily basis.

This user-friendly, online tool translate to mobile devices and allows for easy, on-the-go access to valuable business information. The Dashboard’s data is available to Albertans on the Open Data Portal.

Judi Coombes, RMT is happy to be offering new services after learning successful new techniques at a conference that took place in Kananaskis in November. The course was "Treating Headaches and Migraines" and the techniques learned are easily adaptable to each client and the condition that they present at the time of treatment. The conference covered off the different modalities that are most beneficial to clients presenting with either a headache or migraine, as each condition usually has a different cause and symptoms. This is just another method to consider when incorporating massage therapy into your health program.

Join the Partnership For Resource Trade

A stronger natural resources sector will benefit businesses and communities throughout Canada. Although most Canadians understand that natural resource industries play a vital role in our prosperity and generally support our efforts to supply world markets with Canadian resources, many do not readily understand how these industries support the well-being of their communities.

The Canadian Chamber will be asking business leaders from every region and industry to speak out in their own communities on the crucial issues of resource exports and the role our natural resource sectors play throughout the Canadian economy.

Through the Partnership for Resource Trade, the Canadian Chamber will recruit and empower local champions to add their voices and passion to the public debate. If you are a leading business who would be prepared to publicly support and align yourself with this mandate and message connect with us at [email protected].
