The Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven, volunteer led organization and it is through our members’ investment in us that we are able to work on business development and economic initiatives to fulfill our “healthy business environment” mandate. We believe sincerely that we can accomplish more collectively than what no single business can do alone and are the “Voice of Business” in Medicine Hat and the surrounding area. The Chamber proudly represents the interests of the business community to all levels of government - local, provincial and federal; and our programs and activities are developed to promote and strengthen our economic and social climate.

You may join the Chamber at any time and our dues are prorated to the day you join. Membership is renewed annually with the start of each fiscal year and is based on the number of full-time employees (including management and owners).

1- 5 Full-Time Employees: $240.00 + GST
6 - 15 Full-Time Employees: $290.00 + GST
16 - 25 Full-Time Employees: $405.00 + GST
26 - 50 Full-Time Employees: $430.00 + GST
51 - 100 Full-Time Employees: $720.00 + GST
101 + Full-Time Employees: $840.00 + GST
50% discount for associate members who qualify for one or more of the following criteria:
a) Secondary Branch - an organization that has multiple branches whereby the main branch pays full membership and any secondary branches qualify as an associate.
b) Subsequent Business - for owners with multiple businesses whereby one business already pays full membership (owner must have at least 50% ownership in both businesses).
c) Large Corporations - Professionals who are part of a large private or public corporation that has already taken out a Chamber members (ie. Realtors)
d) Leasee - For businesses who lease property space in a 50+ multi-business unit retail facility whose property owner is the primary lessor who pays full membership.
All primary members must have paid in full prior to the associate member being granted the 50% discount. Ie. if the primary member is a new member they must pay the full, pro-rated membership amount before the associate member is granted the discount OR if the primary member is a renewing member they must pay their full membership dues on or before September 1st of each year. Associate membership discounts WILL NOT be applied retroactively.
• 25% discount for new businesses registered within the first 12 months of operation. Valid business license must be presented at the time of application.
